We won an 'Innovative Solution' special prize at the Visa She’s Next Competition!

We’re beyond excited to share some big news with you: Secontaste made it to the finals of the 2025 Visa She’s Next program in Hungary! 🎉

This initiative, now in its third year, celebrates bold and innovative women entrepreneurs who are building a more sustainable, inclusive, and digitally forward business world. Out of nearly 1300 applications submitted since the program’s launch in 2023, only 10 finalists were selected this year to pitch their business live in front of a jury of experts.

And yes – we were one of them!

What made this moment even more special? Our company wasn’t represented by our founder, Júlia Dalmadi, this time – but by our amazing team member, Lilla Csonka. Stepping up to the challenge, Lilla delivered our pitch with passion and clarity. Another teammate even traveled all the way from Balaton just to cheer her on. 💚

The competition brought together incredible businesses across fields as diverse as educational development, digital health, sustainable fashion, and therapeutic services. The Visa She’s Next program offered not only financial support – a grant of 3 million HUF – but also a full year of tailored professional mentoring.

Secontaste was awarded MBH Bank’s “Innovative Solution” special prize, acknowledging our mission to reduce food waste by transforming byproducts and surplus into upcycled, consumer-ready food products. With this recognition, we’ll be focusing on strengthening our brand internationally and developing our next upcycled innovation – one that brings us closer to consumers and further supports food system circularity.

We’re honored to be recognized alongside so many impactful women-led ventures. More importantly, we’re proud of how far we've come as a team – because sustainability isn't just a mission; it's a collaborative effort.
